Congratulations to Ms. Smith who was awarded May's Teacher of the Month. Ms. Smith is not only one of our fantastic social studies teachers, but she is also our National Honor Society Sponsor. Her fellow teacher's have said that she is very deserving of this honor as she is always willing and available to assist her department - whether it be helping make copies, watching a class or just offering moral support on a tough day. Ms. Smith has also stepped into the role of department head with eagerness, never complaining, doing whatever she can to keep things running smooth. She is one they can count on to help and to always bring a smile to their day. They are very lucky to have her in the Social Studies Department. We are all so thrilled to have Ms. Smith be a Jacket!
