🌟 Learning, Growing & Having Fun! 🌟

Our youngest learners have been busy building important skills—and having lots of fun along the way!

🌬️ 4K: Breathe In, Calm Down!

This week, our 4K students talked about how we can use our lungs and breathing to help calm our bodies. After practicing taking slow breaths, students put their lungs to work with a fun hands-on activity! They blew through straws to move cotton balls across the floor. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and determined little breaths as those cotton balls went rolling! 💨

This playful activity gave students a chance to practice using their breath while learning that taking a moment to breathe can help our bodies feel calm and ready to learn. ❤️

📚 Kindergarten: Rhyming Our Way to Success!

Kindergarten is starting the year strong by building those important phonemic awareness skills! Our students have been working hard to listen for and recognize rhyming words.

After all that fantastic learning, they celebrated their success with a special Pajama Day on Friday! 🧸🌙 There’s nothing better than learning, celebrating, and making wonderful school memories—all while wearing your favorite PJs!

We are so proud of our little learners and the enthusiasm they are bringing to the start of the school year. Keep up the amazing work, 4K and Kindergarten! ⭐
