Busbee had visitors today from WP Rawl Farms! They brought each student a produce bag, which is always a big hit! We greatly appreciate their generosity and continued support of our students 💙🐾

Busbee Busses 455 and 453 will be late this afternoon. Bus 453 is approximately 80 minutes late.

Busbee pickle sales tomorrow during lunch! Don't forget your dollar!

So many of our Busbee Bulldog students wore purple or red, white, and blue 🇺🇸 today in honor of Military Children. We are so proud of our students and our Military Bulldogs! 💜💜💜

Busbee's Third Grade has been taken over by turkeys! Students were supposed to write from the point of view of the turkey, but they got so into character that they wrote persuasive pieces about saving the turkeys! We love their writing and their creativity and wanted to share all of these with you!

Busbee Bulldogs! Tomorrow is Purple Up! Day in honor of our students who have parents and family members serving or who have served in the United States Military. We will also have our Veteran's Day program at 1 pm tomorrow, November 15. If you don't have purple, please wear red/white/blue! 🇺🇸❤️💙

Ms. Swartz's class did a writing lesson with bubble gum! Each student drew a random text structure and then wrote a paragraph about bubble gum using that structure. They also got to try licorice gum! Way to go Busbee Bulldogs! 🐾💙

Look at this super idea in Ms. Jeffcoat's class--it's a Thankful Tree! The students were focused on writing really great sentences about what they are thankful for. Look for more wonderful lessons to be posted soon! 🐾💙

It's time to highlight another great Busbee Bulldog! Sebastian is pictured here with his teachers, Ms. Sawyer and Ms. Bourne. His favorite animal is the cheetah, his favorite movie is Spider Man, and he is working hard to learn his sight-words. If he could have any superpower, it would be to have super sonic speed. Way to go Sebastian! We are so happy to have you with us at Busbee 🐾💙

Busbee Bulldogs had a great time today during our bus evacuation drill! Students perfected the "sit and scoot" to get off in case of an emergency 🚌🚨A big thank you to Ms. Linde, Ms. Green, and Mr. Quigley for running the drill today!

Quick reminder that Busbee pickle sales will be held tomorrow (Tuesday) during lunch. Don't forget your dollar!

Due to extensive rainfall that’s flooded, washed out, and led to road closures across our county, Aiken County Public Schools will operate on a two-hour delayed schedule tomorrow, Thursday, November 7. All schools and offices will open on a two-hour delay. Due to the delayed start, only lunch will be served tomorrow in our cafeterias. Students on half-day schedules, including Early Learning Special Education students and others, will not come to school tomorrow as buses will be unable to make mid-day routes. The Aiken County Career Center will not have morning classes. Students will report to their high school on a two-hour delay. Rainfall is expected throughout the night and into tomorrow. Please use extreme caution when traveling to school and work. If you encounter flooded roadways, please turn around. The safety of our students, staff, and families is most important.

It's a new month, and things are finally back on track, so it's time to start Busbee Highlights again! Today we would like to highlight a Busbee 3rd grade superstar🌟 Carson is taught by Mrs. Hendricks, Mr. Kitchings, and Ms. Foster, and like most of us, his favorite place is home! He loves Reese's and playing video games, and if he had one super power it be the power to heal. His wish is to go to Disney World and for everyone in his entire family to be happy ❤️ we can't say enough good things about our sweet Carson!

We just realized that we never posted our Busbee Faculty and Staff member of the month for September 🤦🏽♀️😭 For September, our Interventionist Mrs. Dawn Farmer was chosen as our Faculty Member of the month, and our Intervention Aide, Ms. Shelly Leach, was chosen as our Staff Member of the Month! We are so thankful for both of these ladies and all they do to ensure each of our students at Busbee has a strong foundation! Well deserved, ladies! 🐾💙
