As our District administration continues to monitor the possible impact of Tropical Storm Debby to our county, a decision has been made to cancel all afternoon activities for tomorrow, Tuesday, August 6, 2024.
Roughly two inches of rainfall is expected tomorrow, and, with the unpredictability of weather systems, we believe it best to cancel activities planned for after school tomorrow, including afternoon practices, meetings, and aftercare through Quest Zone. We apologize for the inconvenience that this will cause. Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we make the best possible decisions with the information that is currently available.
In collaboration with local Emergency Management Officials, we will continue to monitor this storm. Any additional changes to our regular operations this week will be announced with as much advance notice as possible. Our Explorers will take the i-Ready diagnostic assessment for Math on July 30th and Reading on August 1st. The purpose of these assessments is to determine how to best support our Explorers' learning.

Please take a few minutes at home to become familiar with the the rules for your school, as well as the consequences that could result for students who do not follow them. How early can students be dropped off in the mornings? Staff members will be on duty at 7:25 am to supervise early student drop off.
Where is the student drop-off area located? The student drop-off area is located in the front car line loop.
Where should students go on the first day of school? Students who choose to eat breakfast, should report to the cafeteria. Students who do not wish to eat breakfast, should report to Advisory.
Where should my child go if he/she needs a copy of his/her schedule? A staff member will be stationed inside the front entrance to assist students with obtaining a copy of their schedule.
What is the latest time a student can be picked up after school? Car line ends approximately 3:20 pm. Students should be picked up by this time.

An ESOL Back to School registration night will be held on Monday, July 15th at Hammond Hill Elementary School Media Center from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. An additional ESOL registration night will be held on Tuesday, July 15th at Kennedy Middle School from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
