INSTRUCTIONAL LEADER CARLA DUPERT ANNOUNCED AS LEAVELLE MCCAMPBELL MIDDLE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL
The Aiken County Public School District (ACPSD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Carla Dupert as Principal of Leavelle McCampbell Middle School. A veteran educator and accomplished instructional leader, Dupert brings nearly two decades of experience within the District and a strong record of advancing student achievement, supporting teacher development, and fostering positive school cultures. She most recently served as Director of Secondary Teaching and Learning, where she provided leadership for middle and high school instructional programs and districtwide professional learning initiatives. Prior to her district-level role, Dupert served as Principal of Jackson STEM Magnet Middle School and Assistant Principal and PLC Lead Administrator at Kennedy Middle School.
“Carla has a proven track record of advancing instructional excellence and building strong, collaborative school cultures,” said Chief Officer of Instruction Dr. Amy Edwards. “Her experience, leadership, and commitment to student success make her exceptionally well-suited to lead Leavelle McCampbell Middle School.” Dupert said she is excited to join the Leavelle McCampbell community and looks forward to working alongside students, families, and staff to build on the school’s strengths and support student success. Dupert holds a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University and bachelor’s degrees in Secondary Education and Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina Aiken.
