AIKEN — It’s that time of year again: school is right around the corner for Aiken County Public School students, and first year teachers are spending the week of July 6 preparing to take their first steps in Aiken classrooms.
Dr. Whitney Koeppen, educator effectiveness coordinator, said that Ignite is a week-long orientation held almost entirely at Aiken High School that will serve as the onboarding process and training for all new certified employees.
