Four Aiken County Public Schools' seniors will graduate next week with perfect attendance records.
Aiyana Holland, Aiken High School; Antonio Hill, Silver Bluff High School; and Kyler Jones and Thomas O'Banion, South Aiken High School, did not miss a day of school from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Members of the Aiken County School Board recognized the students for their achievement at their regular meeting Tuesday.
“These four students have achieved something that may seem impossible for most – perfect attendance,” Merry Glenne Piccolino, the district's communications director, said before introducing the students. “The will to rise and shine everyday takes determination among not just the students, but parents as well. We honor you tonight for this amazing achievement and are confident that this type of dedication will serve you extremely well in all that you will do in your life and in your career.”
Congratulations to Aiyana Holland of Aiken High School, Antonio Hill of Silver Bluff High School, Kyler Jones and Thomas O'Banion, both of South Aiken High School.
