  • AFFECT THE CULTURE FOOD DRIVE - South Aiken is participating in the Better Campaign to Affect Our Culture.  As part of this campaign, we are having a canned food drive through our 2nd period classes.  We are asking all students and teachers to bring their donated cans to the holiday assembly on Thursday.  The 2nd period class with the most cans collected will be given a pizza party courtesy of Mr. Fuller.  Our overall school goal is 2000 cans!  Let's affect the culture!

  • FIRST SEMESTER EXAMS - Exams will be administered on Monday, December 17 through Thursday, December 20th. To find out which days exams will be given for each period, please see our Winter Exam Schedule.  Students wishing to take exams early must get approval from Mr. Fuller.  They should submit the Exam Make Ups and Student Absences sheet AND a written request from a parent with reason for the absence to Mrs. McDaniel in the Main Office by December 12th.  If approved, it is the student's responsibility to schedule the exam with his/her teacher.

  • APPLYING FOR A VIRTUAL CLASS - Any student interested in taking a virtual class next semester is able to register for ACVA courses beginning on December 6. There will be additional courses offered during regular enrollment in the beginning of January. If you are not sure which class to take, please consult with your counselor during Power Hour.

  • NJROTC BLOOD DRIVE - The South Aiken NJROTC Buccaneers are sponsoring a blood drive Friday, December 14 from 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.  In order to donate blood, you must be at least sixteen years of age and weigh 110 pounds.  Representatives of the NJROTC unit will have a sign-up table in the Commons during Power Hour.  Come on out and give the gift of life!

  • POWER HOUR IN THE MEDIA CENTER - Beginning November 30 through Friday, December 14, all South Aiken students must have a pass from a teacher to utilize the Media Center during Power Hour, as we will be hosting our AP Ambassadors from Kennedy Middle School.  The pass must be a South Aiken pass and issued to students to either check out books and/or complete assignments for the teacher who is issuing the pass.
