AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) – A century of education and community was celebrated at Warrenville Elementary on Thursday.
Aiken County Schools marked the 100th anniversary with a special program and opening of a long-buried time capsule on Nov. 20.
Families and former students toured the campus and took in decades of history.
“I could say that every adult here in this building while I was here cared about the wellbeing of every child and including me. I feel I was blessed to be apart of that,” said AJ Richard, a former student.
