In collaboration with local Emergency Management Officials, our District administrators are closely monitoring Tropical Storm Debby for possible impact to our county.
Please know that the safety of our students, teachers, staff, and families is our highest priority. Safety will be at the heart of considerations related to our operations over the coming days.
We understand that potential changes to the regular school schedule are unsettling and challenging, especially for working families. Any changes to our regular operations will be shared with as much notice to parents/guardians as possible. New information will be shared via a notification to our new mobile app, phone call, email, text message, website, social media, and local media.
Please also stay tuned to local weather warnings and prepare and take precautions as recommended to ensure the safety of your family during this weather event.

The first week of school is almost complete! We are hosting a health and blood drive on Saturday, 7/27, starting at 10 AM with prize giveaways and more!

Parents/Guardians/Students: Over the next week, we'll be reviewing the Student Code of Conduct during the school day. Please take a few minutes at home to become familiar with the the rules for your school, as well as the consequences that could result for students who do not follow them. The Code of Conduct is available by scanning the QR code or visiting www.acpsd.net/CodeOfConduct. We are looking forward to a wonderful year, and appreciate your support in following these conduct guidelines that are aimed to ensure we're creating an environment in which effective teaching and learning can occur and that safeguards are in place for the safety of all students, staff and families.

Good evening,
Here is the link to my parent newsletter for the first week of school:
https://secure.smore.com/n/qg10c
The entire RSM Middle/High School staff is excited to welcome students back to school on Monday! Here is an overview of things you and your child should know for the first day of school (also found in newsletter):
All students will report to their 1st period/block class on Monday. If students do not have their schedule or are unsure of where to report in the morning, we will have lists (alphabetically by grade level) posted in the hallway by the cafeteria. Additionally, we will have plenty of staff members on hand to assist students on the first day. Students who did not pick up schedule at "Walk your Schedule" night will receive a copy in their 1st period/block class.
Students in grades 10-12 should bring a charged laptop with them to school. 9th grade students will receive laptops on Tuesday, July 23rd and middle school students will receive laptops on Wednesday, July 24th.
Our doors open at 7:30 AM, so please do not drop students off prior to that time as there will be no supervision for your child. Middle school students will have an opportunity to grab breakfast before heading directly to their first period class. High school students will eat breakfast in the cafeteria until being dismissed by the bell at 7:50 AM. Classes start at 8:00 AM and any student arriving after will be marked tardy. Middle school dismissal is at 3:10 PM and high school dismissal is at 3:15 PM.
We will be meeting with all students this week to review school-wide expectations for academic, behavior, and attendance. Please know that I value the home-school relationship and that I will always work to make myself available at any time if you have any issues or concerns regarding your child's experience at RSM Middle/High School.
Thank you.
Buenas noches,
https://secure.smore.com/n/qg10c
Gracias.
Matt Shepler
Principal
Ridge Spring-Monetta Middle/High School

We would love to see everyone here! So that you know, the location has been changed to the new gym and prizes will be given every hour!
