The Seamless Summer Meal Program returns for Summer 2025! The ACPSD Child Nutrition Program will be offering nutritious meals at no cost for children aged 18 and under, as well as for individuals with disabilities up to age 21. Meals will be served Monday through Thursday from June 2 to June 26, 2025.

Aiken High School’s Educators Rising would like to invite you and your children to enjoy “A Royal Family Ball” in the Aiken High School cafeteria. This event is for families with young children to experience a “prom-like” event, where they get to dress up in fancy clothes, dance to fun music, eat delicious snacks, make crowns, decorate “chalices,” enjoy other activities, and take pictures of the memories!
Tickets are available on GoFan.com see the link below and QR Code in the picture. Costs are $5.00 for each child ages 3-years-old to 12-years-old (children 2 + under are free). All children must be accompanied by an adult family member (18-years-old and up). Costs for adult tickets are $10.00.

The STEM Carnival Spring Family Night is Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. A PTO Meeting for parents is at 5:45 p.m. in the cafeteria. Join us for fun science and math activities with a carnival theme! The book fair will be open and DJ's American Grill Food Truck will be here with a hot dog special!
Beginning in mid-May all students in grades three through five will participate in South Carolina statewide assessments.
SC READY assessments in English Language Arts and Mathematics will be administered to all students in grades three through five. Students in grades four will also participate in the SC Ready science assessment. The SC READY assessments are designed to measure student progress on the South Carolina College and Career-Ready Standards in these content areas.
The schedule for all end-of-year assessments can be found on the District website under Departments> Accountability and Assessment> End of Year State Assessment Calendar.
All assessments are untimed; students will have as much time as they need to complete each test. Each assessment is given on a separate day, so students have plenty of time in between each assessment. See the parent letter for the assessment schedule.

The Scholastic Book Fair is Monday, May 5 – Thursday, May 8, 2025. Click here to see when your student’s class will shop at the book fair. The Spring Family STEM Night is Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Come shop the book fair, enjoy a food truck, and participate in many fun and engaging STEM activities with your student! Next week is Spirit Week for the Month of the Military Child! On Monday, come dressed as your favorite superhero because military kids are SUPER! Tuesday, wear camo from head to toe. On World-Wide Wednesday, wear something representing a different country. Show your USA pride on Thursday by wearing red, white and blue. The Purple Walk-a-Thon is Friday. Wear white with purple accessories. We will make sure everyone gets a little purple tossed their way!
