The Byrd Elementary Spirit Rock is ready for another year of celebrations! 💙💛
Whether you're celebrating a birthday, wishing someone good luck, recognizing an accomplishment, or sharing a special message, our Spirit Rock is a fun way to make someone's day.
🎨 Rental Fee: $25 (must be paid at the school office via cash or check)
📅 Reservations are from 4:00 PM to 4:00 PM the following day.
✔️ Reservations are confirmed once payment is received.
🖌️ Families provide their own paint and paint the rock themselves.

Friday, July 24, will be our first day with ALL of our Byrd Eagles on campus, including all 4K and 5K students!
A few quick reminders:
• 4K and 5K parents may park in the bus parking lot and walk their child in tomorrow morning.
• Expect longer morning and afternoon car lines and plan for a few extra minutes.
• Students arriving after 7:30 a.m. must be signed in by an adult in the front office.
• Afternoon car line begins at 2:30 p.m.
• A Byrd car tag is required for student pickup.

Graduation week is here, and we can’t wait to celebrate the Class of 2026 at their commencement ceremonies being held at USC Aiken's Convocation Center!
To help graduation attendees enjoy a smooth, stress-free day, please remember that there will be metal detection upon arrival. We kindly ask that you review the attached graphic for prohibited items, such as bags, balloons, and outside food, so you can leave those items safely in your vehicle before heading to the entrance.
Additionally, because the lobby can become crowded after the ceremony, please plan to meet your graduate outside the venue once the event concludes.

New and Returning Student Registration is underway for the upcoming 2026-27 School Year.
Please take a few minutes to review the registration information at www.acpsd.net/register or go directly to your parent portal in PowerSchool at http://aiken.powerschool.com/public.
For returning students, registration takes just a few minutes through your parent portal account as the student’s existing registration information will pre-populate. Please review and change any information that needs updating and ensure that up-to-date emergency contact information is included for each student.
Registering your student now helps us get ready to welcome your student back after the summer and ensure a smooth start to next school year, allowing teachers and classrooms to be assigned to serve your student on day one.

Join us in celebrating the creativity and talent of our students at the 2026 ACPSD Fine Arts Festival! The community is invited to experience an inspiring showcase of the arts, featuring performances by our talented student groups on Friday, May 1st at 5:00 PM.
Additionally, come explore a vibrant collection of K–12 artwork on display throughout downtown at the Aiken Center for the Arts, highlighting the imagination and skill of students across the district. Whether you enjoy visual art, music, or live performances, this festival offers something for everyone.
Bring your family and friends and be a part of this exciting celebration of the arts in our community!
Aiken High School’s Educators Rising would like to invite you and your children to enjoy “A Royal Family Ball - Under the Sea” in the Aiken High School cafeteria on May 8th - 6:00-8:30 PM. This event is for families with young children to experience a “prom-like” event, where they get to dress up in fancy clothes, dance to fun music, eat delicious snacks, make crafts, play games, enjoy other activities, and take pictures of the memories!
Tickets are available on GoFan.com. See the link and QR Code in the picture. Costs are $5.00 for each child ages 3-years-old to 12-years-old (children 2 + under are free). All children must be accompanied by an adult family member (18-years-old and up). Costs for adult tickets are $10.00.
