Volunteer Appreciation

BES Weekly News: Celebrating Volunteers, Preparing for Testing, and Looking Ahead to 2026-2027

It is an exciting time to be a part of the BES community! As we move into the final stretch of the 2025-2026 school year, our halls are buzzing with academic focus, appreciation for our community, and preparations for the year to come.

Honoring Our Volunteers: Appreciation Brunch this Friday

We believe that "it takes a village," and our village is one of the best. To honor the dedicated individuals who have given their time and energy to our school, BES will host a Volunteer Appreciation Brunch this Friday at 10:30 AM.

This drop-in event is a small token of our gratitude for everyone who has supported our students and staff this year. Invitations were sent home this past Friday, and additional invitations will be distributed early this coming week. If you have volunteered at BES in any capacity, please join us!

Academic Spotlight: Test Prep and Awards Days

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students have officially kicked off their Test Prep season! We are incredibly proud of the grit and determination our students are showing as they put in the final hours of studying to showcase their academic growth.

In conjunction with our academic milestones, please be sure to check the latest school bulletin for updated times for our upcoming Award Days. We look forward to seeing families in the audience as we celebrate our students' hard work and achievements.

Planning for the Future: 2026-2027 Registration

Hard to believe as it may be, it is already time to look toward the 2026-2027 school year! Returning student registration begins this week. We are excited to offer a special "Early Bird" incentive: Any student who is fully registered with two proofs of residency will be eligible to receive their teacher assignment for the next school year immediately following their Awards Day ceremony.

Important Residency Updates:

  • Existing Affidavits: If an affidavit of residency was previously used, you must provide an updated driver’s license and a current piece of mail this year.

  • New Affidavits: For those using an affidavit for the first time this year, guardians must provide an updated driver’s license and piece of mail within 30 days of registration.

A Strong Finish

As we prepare for the 2026-2027 school year, our focus remains on finishing the current year with excellence. We are grateful for your continued partnership in making BES a wonderful place to learn.

Go Team BES!
