  • JUNIOR LEADERSHIP AIKEN COUNTY APPLICATION - Junior Leadership Aiken County (JLAC) is a program designed to identify, develop, and motivate leadership among 10th graders attending high schools in Aiken County.  Participants will have the opportunity to learn about Aiken County and how it functions from business, government, and social standpoints.  The program encourages students to be involved citizens. The group meets for daylong sessions each month (January through March) to explore issues facing Aiken County today and in the future.  To be considered for the group, the student's completed application must be received by the JLAC Coordinators no later than Friday, November 16, 2018 (applications must be submitted via mail or scanned and submitted by email).   • CAREER CENTER APPLICATIONS - Career Center Applications for the 2019-2020 school year, for rising 10th and 11th grade students, are now available in the School Counseling Office.  Completed applications are due back to Guidance no later than Friday, November 30, 2018.

  • VIRTUAL SCHOOL EXAMS - Students who are enrolled in a virtual class have to take their exams between December 4-6 from 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. in the Virtual Lab (Room 103).

  • LOST IN YONKERS - SAHS Drama Club will present their fall production of Neil Simon's Pulitzer Prize winning play, Lost in Yonkers at the following dates and times: Friday, December 7 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, December 8 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, December 9 at 2:30 p.m.  Lost in Yonkers is the story of two teenagers who have to spend the summer of 1942 in Yonkers, NY with their "strange" aunt, Bella, and their cruel grandmother, Grandma Kurnitz.  The boys, who have just lost their mother due to illness, learn the pain of a dysfunctional family.  The play will touch the heart with its humor and warmth.

  • SAHS SCHOLARSHIP PAGEANT - The South Aiken Athletic Booster Club is sponsoring the SAHS Scholarship Pageant on January 12, 2019.  Applications and entry fees are due December 19th.  Contestants are also required to obtain sponsorships.
