3rd-5th Grade Families: This is a reminder that SC Ready Reading testing is tomorrow and Friday.
A few important reminders:
• Testing begins at 8:00 AM daily
• Students must be on time (late arrivals will go to an alternate area)
• No early sign-outs during testing
Please help your child come prepared with a good night’s rest, a healthy breakfast, and a positive attitude.
Most importantly, we don’t want students to feel stressed—this test does not define them. We already know how amazing they are, and we just want them to do their best and shine!

To help avoid any additional fees, please make sure all student library books are turned in by Friday, May 8th.
You can help us by checking backpacks, car seats, and home reading spots—we know those books can hide in the best places! 😉
Thank you for partnering with us to keep our library collection complete and ready for all readers! 💙

We are so grateful for each and every one of our amazing volunteers who step in, show up, and help make our events run so smoothly. From big events to the little behind-the-scenes moments, your time, energy, and heart make a difference every single day.
It truly wouldn’t be possible without you, and we are so thankful for such a supportive and caring community. You are what makes Millbrook so special!

We’re excited to invite our Millbrook families to Family Movie Night this Friday from 6:00–8:00 PM! Join us in the cafeteria for a fun movie, and don’t forget to bring blankets or something comfy to sit on.
We’ll also have an outdoor activity where students can paint rocks to help beautify our campus—a fun way to leave their mark at school! (These rocks will stay on campus, so students can look for their creations around campus afterward 😊)
Come hungry! Farm Dogs and Flanigan's Ice Cream food trucks will be on site with items available for purchase.
This is a family event, so students must attend with a parent or guardian—we’re looking forward to enjoying the evening together!

Don’t worry about cooking dinner this Thursday—make it a fun and easy night out! Swing by Sonic on Whiskey Road anytime from 5:00–9:00 PM for our Spirit Night.
Just let them know you’re part of the Millbrook Family when you place your order, and 20% of donated receipts will go directly to our PTO, supporting our students, teachers, and school programs.
We’re so grateful for our partnership with Sonic and for the continued support from our amazing families. We hope to see you there! 💙
