Welcome Back to J.D. Lever Elementary!
We hope you’ve had a fantastic summer! We can’t wait to welcome all of our students back on Monday, July 21st. It was a joy to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new families—thank you for being part of the J.D. Lever family!
As we prepare for a successful start to the new school year, please review the important information below to help ensure a smooth morning and a safe afternoon for everyone.
Morning Arrival:
Doors open at 7:00 am: Please do not drop off students before this time, as staff will not be available to supervise early arrivals.
Car Rider Drop-Off / Pick-Up: Please stay in your car, we will assist with helping students in and out of the car safely.
Breakfast: Breakfast is available in the cafeteria.Students who choose to eat will go straight to the cafeteria upon entering. Students must be in the cafeteria by 7:20 am for breakfast.
The instructional day begins at 7:30am. A parent or guardian must sign in students arriving after this time in the front office.
School Hours:
Instructional Hours are from 7:30am – 2:30pm. Dismissal starts at 2:30pm.
Transportation Plans – VERY IMPORTANT!
To ensure a smooth and safe dismissal, please provide your child and their teacher with information on how they will be getting home on the first day—and every day.
All transportation plans must be communicated in writing to your child’s teacher. Changes must be submitted by 2:00 p.m.
Your partnership in this is crucial to helping us maintain organized dismissals and keep students safe.
Bus Riders:
Only students who signed up for bus transportation before the first day of school are eligible to ride the bus.
