Michael Marcelain brings heart, purpose, and student‑centered leadership to his role as Child Nutrition Manager at Schofield Middle School. Originally from Michigan, Michael has been part of the Aiken County and Chartwells Child Nutrition team for almost a year and his impact is already felt. His passion for K‑12 food service is rooted in the students themselves, and he believes the most important part of this job is keeping the focus exactly where it belongs: on serving them well. Helping others has always been a driving force in his life, and that commitment shines through in his work every day.

Michael stays motivated by knowing that the meals he and his team prepare bring smiles to students’ faces. Outside of work, he continues his service‑minded spirit by volunteering in the community. He enjoys traveling, cheering on his favorite football teams, and pursuing his number‑one goal in life, which is growing spiritually. And when it comes to food, he’s all about Greek cuisine, a flavorful favorite that matches his warm and energetic personality. Michael’s dedication, compassion, and student‑first mindset make him an exceptional leader, and we’re proud to honor him as our Manager of the Month for March.
