We’re proud to recognize Georgia Jackson, Child Nutrition Professional at Mossy Creek Elementary, as this month’s Employee of the Month! Originally from Johnston, South Carolina, Georgia has been a valued part of the Aiken County team for five years. She found her way into K–12 food service through a friend and quickly fell in love with the fast-paced environment. Her favorite part of the job is seeing the kids smile when she serves them, and she stays motivated by the strong bond she shares with her team.
Georgia’s advice to anyone interested in this career path is simple but powerful: be a good team player. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family. When it comes to food, she’s all about the classics: chicken nuggets and pizza top her list. Georgia’s dedication, warmth, and teamwork make her a true asset to the Mossy Creek community.
