This week marks the Quarter 1 interim point and the start of our fifth week of school. Grades are entered and updated weekly, and all student grades will be current for the interim date on August 19.
✅ Please take time to review your student’s grades in PowerSchool. If you need help accessing PowerSchool on your phone or signing up for the Parent Portal, contact our office or your student’s home school office.
💻 Reminder: District devices are for school-related use only. Devices are monitored by Linewize, and alerts are sent when potentially dangerous or inappropriate content is detected. Personal conversations, writing, and other non-school activities should take place on personal devices.
📝 We also want to remind students and families about academic integrity expectations. Students do not receive redo opportunities after an academic integrity violation. When students are unsure about an assignment, please encourage them to contact their teacher for support before submitting their work.

Wednesday, August 19th will be the first early dismissal day of the 2026–27 school year!
Students will be dismissed early while our teachers and staff use the afternoon for professional development, collaboration, and additional training to support student success.

Midland Valley High School Seniors!!!
MVHS is having a Senior Kickoff Event on Tuesday, August 4th from 8:20am - 11:40am at Midland Valley High School. There will be lots of important information that students will need to have a successful senior year and several door prizes including prom tickets, yearbook vouchers, senior breakfast tickets, t-shirts, and more!
MVHS is also hosting a Senior Parent Night on August 4th at 5:30pm. Please plan to attend.

This is Dustin Fowler, Virtual Learning Coordinator. I want to welcome you to Aiken Innovate and share a few important reminders about our upcoming onboarding week.
Please look for an email sent on Sunday evening titled “Aiken Innovate Onboarding Week.” This email includes important details about the first week of school and upcoming events.
The first day of school is Monday, July 20. We have several things happening that day at Aiken Innovate, located at:
130 Avery Lane
Aiken, SC 29801
On July 20, we will have laptop distribution for any student who needs an Aiken Innovate-issued device. All students will also have access to the Aiken Innovate Connected Student Course, where they can begin orientation and complete learning coach training.
We will also offer in-person learning coach training for all new students and families on July 20. Training will be held based on the student’s last name:
10:00 a.m. — Last names A through H
1:00 p.m. — Last names J through Z
Students should attend the training with their learning coach, parent, or guardian. After the training, students will be issued a device if needed and will receive assistance logging in to all required programs.
If you are a returning student who attended Aiken Innovate last year, you do not need to stay for in-person learning coach training. Instead, you may complete the training through the Connected Student Orientation Course.
Please plan for learning coach training to take approximately two hours.
On Tuesday, July 21, we will host the Aiken Innovate Meet the Teacher event. This is an optional event where students can come in, meet their teachers in person, and learn more about classroom-level expectations. The onboarding week email includes specific times for middle school and high school teachers. This event will also take place at:

Finally, on Wednesday, July 22, and Thursday, July 23, live sessions will begin. Students should plan to log in on their computers and access live sessions through Microsoft Teams. All students will receive invitations through email and their Teams calendar.

The Seamless Summer Meal Program is back for Summer 2026! We are dedicated to ensuring school-age children and eligible individuals have access to nutritious foods to learn, play, and grow all summer long.

Who Qualifies: Healthy meals are served at no cost to school-age children 18 years & under, as well as disabled persons/children 21 years and under who are enrolled in school.
Onsite Policy: All meals MUST be eaten onsite.
Adult Meals: Adults are welcome to eat with their children! Adult meals can be purchased at the following rates: Breakfast: $3.20 | Lunch: $5.50.
