Dear Students and Learning Coaches,

As we prepare for tomorrow’s Laptop Distribution Day, I want to share some important updates.

📌 Orientation Reminder

Completion of the online orientation is required for participation in the Aiken iNNOVATE program. Some students have not yet finished all four required items in the orientation course.

We have sent a targeted email to students and parents who still need to complete orientation. Please check for that message, as it includes a video tutorial on how to access, complete, and verify the orientation assignments.

If your student still needs help, we will offer in-person support for orientation completion during laptop distribution hours tomorrow and Friday (July 17th and 18th).


💻 Laptop Distribution Details

Our Aiken iNNOVATE technology team will be on-site at:

130 Avery Lane, Aiken, SC 29801

  • Thursday, July 17: 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM

  • Friday, July 18: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Laptops will be distributed to:

  • All Middle School students

  • All incoming High School students


📅 Student Schedules

Student schedules will not be distributed during Laptop Distribution.
Starting July 21, available schedules will be accessible through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

We had previously stated that schedules might be available on-site, but due to logistical limitations, that will no longer be possible. We appreciate your understanding.


📞 Communication

We are currently receiving a high volume of phone calls and are responding as quickly as possible. However, due to limited staff and internal transitions, reaching us by phone may be difficult.

🌐 VirtualSC Account Setup

All Aiken iNNOVATE students must create a VirtualSC Genius account to access their coursework.
You can create the account at home by visiting www.virtualsc.org and clicking the blue "Dashboard Login" button in the top right corner.

If your student already has a VirtualSC account, do not create a new one. If you need login help, please:

  • Use the "Forgot Password" option

  • Or contact VirtualSC Student Services at 803-734-0839

We will also be available to assist with account creation during both laptop distribution days.
