  • RUN UNITED

    Run United

Aiken Electric Cooperative Touchstone Energy will host its annual RUN UNITED Half Marathon, 5K race and Kids’ Fun Run on April 25, 2020, and is offering free registration (a $10 value) to the first 500 ACPSD elementary school students (ages 3-11) who sign up. Parents/guardian should complete the attached RunRace Application and return it to their school to the PE teacher, running coach or school office!
Once received, please write #ACPSD500 in the pink box where the Entry Fee information is located.
Then, scan and email the student Race Applications to both Keyatta Priester at kpriester@aikenco-op.org and Sherri Walker at swalker@aikenco-op.org. This opportunity for free registration is available on a first-come first-served basis and Aiken Electric will notify us when the first 500 free students have registered. We will notify Principals immediately once the opportunity is no longer available.

Additionally, our elementary school students have been invited to participate in a photo shoot for the race. The photo shoot is scheduled for the afternoon of Wednesday, February 26. Parents who would like their students to participate should have their student downtown on Newberry Street at the Fountain at 3:45 p.m. They will be provided directions for the photo shoot, which will begin at 4:00 p.m.

If the student has a RUN UNITED shirt please have them wear it, if not please provide Keyatta Priester with their size and she will try to accommodate with a shirt. They have limited sizes and shirts.

For additional information on the photo shoot opportunity and for any questions, please contact Keyatta Priester at the email address above or by calling her at (803) 649-6245.

Parents if you would like your child to participate and need assistance with the form please stop by our school office and we will be glad to help! We have forms and will scan and email them for you!
