BUSBEE BULLDOG Announcements

  • acGATEWAY [Aiken County Gifted and Talented Education With Artistic Youth] -  the application for the 2020 acGATEWAY program is available now. This program is a summer arts opportunity for students currently in grades 3-12.  Students may apply and audition for visual art, theater, dance, or music. Students in grade 6-12 may also apply and audition for creative writing. Please find more information by clicking on Departments > Gifted & Talented > acGATEWAY. Each school has a school-based coordinator to assist your child in the application process.  Please contact your coordinator, Marcia Lee Blizzard, at mblizzard@acpsd.net or (803) 564-1000 or 564-1050 with questions. Applications are due back by December 6. 
     
    The program will run daily from 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. for elementary students, and 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. for middle and high school students. The program will be held Monday through Thursday. The program will not be held on Friday. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for students each day; however, students may bring their own lunch, if desired. Transportation is not provided.

  • MEDICAL AND DENTAL SERVICES OFFERED - Rural Health Services has partnered with Cyril B. Busbee Elementary to provide students with dental and medical services on the Clyburn Community Health Express Mobile Unit. Registration forms can be obtained on the Nursing Services section of Aiken County Public School District's website. For more information please contact the school nurse or call (803) 219-1926.

    Our Scholastic Book fair will be held November 18-22 in the Media Center. Come see what's NEW! All purchases benefit our school!

  • Coke Rewards for Our School

    Our school has joined the My Coke Rewards for Schools program. What does that mean? It means that every time you enjoy a participating Coca-Cola product, you can donate the My Coke Rewards points to our school. The donations will help give our students things they need, but especially student awards and incentives.

  • Bulldog Pickle Sales

    Pickle sales will begin Tuesday, October 22nd from 7:00-7:40 outside of the cafeteria. Students who purchase pickles will be given a ticket to redeem during lunch on Friday.
