Farms to Families Program Coming to Aiken County
FARMS TO FAMILIES PROGRAM COMING TO AIKEN COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS - In partnership with Titan Farms of Ridge Spring, students and families in our community will have access to fresh produce through a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) program called Farms to Families.
On the dates provided below, schools participating in the program will receive boxes of produce, each weighing around 20 pounds, delivered by Titan Farms. The produce will be available on a first-come-first-served basis from 10:30 a.m. until all produce boxes have been distributed.
Schools serving as Wednesday distribution sites for the Farms to Families program include North Aiken Elementary, Belvedere Elementary, Mossy Creek Elementary, Oakwood-Windsor Elementary, Warrenville Elementary, and Graniteville Elementary. These schools will receive boxes of produce on July 22 and July 29, as well as August 5 and August 12.
Schools serving as Thursday distribution sites include Busbee Elementary and Ridge Spring Elementary. These schools will receive produce boxes on July 23 and July 30, as well as August 6 and August 13.
