Have you heard of the Summer Slide? It is estimated that students lose two or more months of reading and math skills during the summer break. The Aiken County Public School District is pleased to offer a wide variety of summer learning opportunities to stop the summer slide! With programs like Waterford (5K and 1st grade students) and Edmentum (2nd+ grade) available, our students will have the opportunity of staying ahead of the game. Please note that while many opportunities listed are for all ACPSD students, some are by invitation only. Check out these learning opportunities!

    If you should need anything this summer, please note that our school will be open all summer, Monday - Thursday with the exception of July 2 - 5th. Stop by any time from 7:15 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. for support with registration, or for a tour of our school.

  • ENROLL FOR 2019-2020 ONLINE

    You can register your student to attend W.E.S. online throughout the summer. Parents/guardians will have the opportunity to enroll their children online, which will save considerable time when you attend our school’s registration day. As part of online registration, you may submit required information, including bus transportation, pay registration fees, submit residency verification documents, and apply for Free/Reduced lunches if applicable. Parents of bus riders should complete the online form as soon as possible to provide proper notification to the Department of Transportation. The online registration process should take less than five (5) minutes per student. Please visit our district website, under I Am > A Parent (or About Us > Registration ) for details on this process. Registration day is August 8th from 12 to 7:00 p.m. Prior to August 8th, please register your child online. Parents/guardians will need an active email address in order to register your child. If you need access to technology, during the summer, please come by the school Monday through Thursday from 7:30 to 4:30 p.m.

  • PREPARE FOR FAMILY EMERGENCIES WITH SMART911 - We are fortunate in Aiken County to have access to a free service called SMART911. The service allows families to register their homes and occupants for the purpose of providing law enforcement and first responders with immediate access to life-saving information in the event of a call for help to 911.
