  • AHS Jazz Band Shines

    AHS Jazz Band receives superior ratings. The Jazz Performance Assessment was held at Newberry College, Newberry SC on February 29th, 2020. The Jazz Band received a Superior Rating for their performance, the highest rating awarded. The AHS jazz band is pictured with world famous trombone player Steve Wiest, who was the guest artist for the clinic this year.

    The Hornets' Charles Herring and Addam Holsenback signed with USC Lancaster, and Rushton Bowles signed with USC Salkehatchie – and more signees will be on the way from Aiken's senior class, a group that's embodied what Howard wants his program to be.

Members of Rumours: A Fleetwood Mac Tribute played some of the British-American rock band's greatest hits and answered questions about the art and craft of being a musician and performer at an educational outreach program sponsored by Aiken Performing Arts.
