We are ready for SC READY! Please be sure to note the following dates for SC READY and SC PASS testing. May 13 is Writing, May 15 & 16 will be Reading parts A and B. May 20 is Math and May 22 is Science for 4th grade only.
There are plenty of ways we can help our students on their way to a successful testing day. Here are some tips that will get your students off on a good start: Get Plenty of rest, maintain your bedtime routines, & limit tv/gaming. Get a good breakfast at home or at school. It’s important to eat before testing! Attendance is important! Missing testing days can put you behind and you will have to make them up. Be at school by 7:30 everyday! Avoid scheduling appointments on testing days. Listen to the teacher instructions and read the directions carefully. Finally, help our students believe in themselves! They have learned so much this year, and we know they can do it!

This week has been a busy week in The Den with house spirit week and teacher appreciation week! Thank you to everyone who showed our teachers love this week and everyone who participated in our house wars!

A huge applause for an amazing elementary students who sang their hearts out at the Aiken high school baseball game this week! Their performance was a shining moment made possible by weeks of dedication and rehearsals. A big thanks to Mr. Spooner for his leadership and passion and guiding these young voices!

2nd grade students are continuing to learn about what plants need to grow! Students started their projects this week and will work to observe what changes occur and what makes some plants grow and others not!

The flowers Ms. Bacon's class planted in November are now in full bloom, adding vibrant color to our school community gardens. Caileigh's was the first to bloom. It’s amazing to see their hard work come to life, reminding us all of the beauty that grows when we care for our environment together.
