It is my privilege to join the Wagener-Salley High School family.  I am a 20+ year veteran educator. I have served as a Teacher, School Social Worker and School Counselor. I have also served as The Director of School Counseling Services for two high schools and The District Director of Counseling services. The highlight of my career was serving as the South Carolina Department of Education, School Counseling Personnel State Liaison before coming to Aiken County Public School District as an Assistant Principal.

Prior to becoming an educator, I served in the US Army as an Aviation Operations Specialist. After leaving the Army, I entered the Ministry and have served as a Senior Pastor for the last twenty-two years. I posses a Doctorate in Christian Education (D.M.) from Beacon University, Master in Educational Administration, K-12 certified from Charleston Southern University, Master in Education in School Guidance and Counseling, K-12 certified from Cambridge College and a Bachelor of Social Work from Limestone College. I am currently an Ed.D candidate in Curriculum and Instruction, Cappella University.

I am married and we have nine children and five grandchildren with one on the way, due in October of 2018.

It is my belief as an educator that it is my duty to foster an environment that provides the absolute best possible education and the most opportunities I can for students.  At Wagener-Salley, it is our goal to prepare our students for college and careers in a safe and enriching environment. I look forward to strengthening our community partnerships, school spirit and overall school climate to help the Wagener-Salley family continue its rich legacy and heritage.
