Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Eric Hofstetter

My name is Eric Hofstetter.  I will be teaching Biology I CP & Honors this year at North Augusta High School. This is my 4th year of teaching Science at North Augusta.  Previously, I taught life science (Biology, Marine Science, and Anatomy) at Silver Bluff High School from 1992-2020.  During that time, I was an assistant varsity football coach for 25 years and the head softball coach for 22 years.  I graduated with a Biology degree and played football for Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. In 2013, I obtained my Master’s Degree in Education from Walden University.  In 2019, I started my swim coaching career with the Aiken-Augusta Swim League.  I have been married to my wife Melissa for the past 18 years and have two daughters, Lauren and Gina.  Lauren, age 16, will be going into 11th grade while Gina, age 15, will be going into 10th grade.  Both of my daughters are on year-round swim teams.  In my spare time, I love to work around the house and watch sports (especially football).  I am looking forward to the 2023-24 school year at North Augusta High School.
