Hello, and welcome to my page! My name is Mrs. Chipman and this is my third year at South Aiken. This year I am teaching English 2  & English 3. I am originally from a small town in East Tennessee. After high school, I joined the US Navy as a linguist, and in 2016, I graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. My husband is an Aiken native and my best friend. I am blessed to be a mom to my kids, Sebastian and Esther. They bring me so much joy. I also have two fur babies: Rosie, a German Shepherd/lab mix, and Billie Holiday, a tuxedo cat. In my spare time I like to read, bike, garden, make art, travel, and spend time with my family. In the fall, you can find me hiking or watching LSU, Saints, or UT football. 

I am excited about the 2022-2023 school year, which is full of brilliant possibilities and new relationships with students and parents. I look forward to meeting you soon!
