  • INVITATION TO BID 2023: Demolition of Old Ridge Spring Monetta Elementary School

    ADDENDUM #1 

    ADDENDUM #1 SPECS & DRAWINGS

    The School District of Aiken County will accept bids for the year 2023 Demolition Ridge Spring Monetta Elementary - the school is located at 422 Hazzard Circle Ridge Spring, SC 29129.

    Sealed bids will be received by the Owner until 2:00 p.m. on May 31, 2023,  in the Facilities Construction Department of the Aiken County Public Schools' Operations Center at 61 Given Street, (2nd Floor), Aiken, South Carolina 29805, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Performance and Labor/Materials (Payment) Bonds along with notarized Power of Attorney will be required at 100% each from the awarded Bidder.

    Specifications and any addendums may be obtained from www.acpsd.net, click Department> Facilities Construction. 

    The non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on May 18, 2023 at the jobsite located at 422 Hazzard Circle, Ridge Spring, SC  29129.  The cut off date for questions will be May 23, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. please email or call Beth Clark at  bclark@acpsd.net, or 803-642-0436 if you have any questions.  All Contractor’s will be required to inspect the RSME site. Please call Kevin Chipman, 803-270-0488, to set up an appointment due to the site being unoccupied. 

    A Bid Bond with Power of Attorney or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid will be required.  A valid Certificate of Insurance must also be submitted with the bid.  The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive all technicalities and formalities.  No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after opening.  Additional information may be obtained by contacting Kevin Chipman, Director of Facilities Construction and Beth Clark at (803) 642-0436. The Contractor bidding the project is responsible for receiving addendum prior to the bid. Check the Aiken County Public School web page at www.acpsd.net for any addendum prior to the bid.

  • NOTIFICATION OF AWARD: 2023 Installation of Flooring at J.D. Lever Elementary School

    NOTIFICATION OF AWARD

    INVITATION TO BID

    The School District of Aiken County will accept bids for the “2023 Installation of Flooring at J. D. Lever Elementary School.”  Sealed bids will be received by the Owner at the Facilities Construction Department of the Aiken County Public Schools Operation Center, at 61 Given Street, (2nd Floor) Aiken, South Carolina 29805, until 2:00 p.m. on April 11, 2023, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.  Performance and Labor/Material (Payment) Bonds along with notarized Power of Attorney will be required at 100% each, from the awarded Bidder.

Lever Elementary School, 2404 Columbia Hwy., Aiken, South Carolina 29805 803-641-2760. 

          All Contractors will be required to inspect the individual school by contacting the Principal of J.D. Lever Elementary School, Michael Truitt at mtruitt@acpsd.net, by email, for a predetermined appointment after this meeting.  Sign-in sheets will be available at the Principal’s office.  The Principal CANNOT answer questions concerning this bid package.  All questions must be directed to the persons indicated below.
