Jimmy Howard

Dear Parent/Guardians,

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! My name is Jimmy Howard and I will be teaching your Middle School Students IT Fundamental and Coding class this year. I am so excited to get the chance to work with each of you this year. I earned my MBA from Southern Wesleyan University and this will be my first year teaching at Jackson Middle. I have been married to my beautiful wife Amy for 25 years and and have been blessed with three wonderful children, two boys 18,13 and one girl, age 9. I am originally from Kentucky and have lived in Aiken, SC for almost 14 years. I served in the US Navy for four years and have over 20 years of business experience in both profit and non profit organizations, primally in an executive position. I am an avid sports fan and have coached multiple sports for over 15 years. I am currently the Head JV Football Coach at South Aiken and Coach the offensive line for the varsity team.

My desire is to create a positive stress-free working environment so we can prepare our students for the next step in their educational process.  My goal is to allow my experience to be a conduit for our students to help bring our material to life by connecting them to "Real World Connections" and we will utilize technology to accomplish this.

 Regards,

Coach Howard
