Day of Caring
  • In partnership with Security Federal Bank and The United Way of Aiken County, our school district's annual K-12 Day of Caring offers a chance for all to lend a hand, working side by side with students, school employees, friends, family and colleagues on small projects to enhance curb appeal and the educational environments district-wide.

Students, staff and administration in Aiken County Public Schools have been grateful to receive so much support from our communities during the last three years with our annual Day of Caring event. As a way of giving back, a team of volunteers from each school choose a service project in their community to serve on Saturday, September 21, 2019! Thank you to all who participated in this day of giving!

Aiken Scholars' Day of Caring

  • On Sept 21, 2019 Aiken Scholars participated in Day of Caring. In partnership with USCA the volunteers planted bushes, completed a campus clean up, and painted the sign at the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center. Our scholars worked hard and we are very proud of their efforts! Thank you to all the parents and students who participated today.
