Hello, I am the MLPS (Multilingual Learner Program Specialist) teacher at Jefferson Elementary and Gloverville Elementary School.  I have been in education for more than 20 years, having taught at South Aiken Baptist Christian School, North Augusta Elementary and Oakwood-Windsor Elementary, Gloverville, and Jefferson Elementary School.  I have spent most of my career in the classroom, but have also worked in reading intervention. Working with children brings me joy! I always look forward to seeing the children grow and prosper into great young men and women! 

I graduated from the University of South Carolina at Aiken with a B.A. in Elementary Education and received an M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision from Southern Wesleyan University.  I have been married to my husband, Mark, for 36 years.  We have four daughters; Lauren, Rachel, Emily, and Jenna.  I also have three very sweet grandchildren, Liam, Josie, and Grayson. I also have a dog named Charlie (we call him Cutie). 

I am looking forward to working with your children this year and teaching them English as their second language.
