As we enter the last couple months of the school year it is time to start looking ahead to next year.  We are hoping that things go back to normal (or as close as possible) so that we can take trips with the band to competitions, clinics, and other events.  With that being said, we need to try to build up the Band Booster Club account so that we will be prepared if we are able to do the things we love to do with the band.  At this time we are starting three fund-raisers.  All of them are non-contact.  Information and links for them are below.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact Mr. Clamp.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION (Ongoing, does not end)

This is soooo easy!  Just download the app on your phone.  Once you have done that you simply “scan” your receipts from grocery stores, Walmart, etc.  The app will show you how, but it is super easy and only takes about 30 seconds per receipt.  When you set it up choose Ridge Spring-Monetta High School and then once you get ready to do your first scan it will ask you which group you are supporting and you type in “Band Boosters”.  After the first time it will default to “Band Boosters” so you should not have to do that again unless you want to change to another group.  More information can be found at their website by clicking HERE.

Click HERE to see the RS-M Middle and High School Bands Virtual Fall and Winter Concert.

The video includes the Fall Virtual Solo and Ensemble Festival as well as the students who volunteered to play some Christmas songs.

The file is too large to download directly to the school web page, so the link will take you to an unlisted YouTube channel, which means you have to have the link to be able to view the video.

Thanks to the following students who worked so hard to create the Virtual Concert (in order of performance):

    James Smith - "Amazing Grace"

Maryann Sterling and Aubrianna Wise - "(Meet) The Flintstones"

Landon Hastings - "Toccata (from Toccata and Fugue in D Minor"

Kyla Padgett - "Funeral March of a Marionette"

    Lamyous Alexander - "Jingle Bells"

Jaedyn Giordano - "Jolly Old St. Nicholas"

    Stella Edwards - "Silent Night"

James Smith - "The First Noel"

Maryann Sterling, Aubrianna Wise, and Christian Smith - "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen"

Landon Hastings and Nehemiah Singley - "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch"

Kyla and Bennie Padgett - "Jingle Bell Rock"
