I am delighted to serve the Wagener-Salley community as Principal of the Busbee Bulldogs! I have served as an educator for 23 years, working in elementary, middle, and high schools in West Virginia and South Carolina.

I recognize that we have many things to work on here at Busbee, and our students, teachers, and staff are some of the best and brightest in the district. I know we will make great strides this year. I am also excited about partnering with A.L. Corbett Middle, Wagener-Salley High, and other community partners to strengthen our school and grow our students.

Family and Friends of Busbee: 
I am extremely excited to be a member of the Busbee Family. I have always had a great love for the Wagener-Salley community, and it is a true honor to be back in Wagener serving the families of Busbee Elementary. 
 
I believe we must strongly support our teachers, students, staff, families, and administration in creating the best learning environment for our students. We must create opportunities and space for all students to find success, and Busbee has a proud history of doing just that. I believe whole-heartedly in the potential and promise of each of our young people. This potential is best reached through supportive, nurturing environments that encourage high expectations of students. We want our students to push farther and reach higher. 
 
We have many initiatives and programs at Busbee Elementary to help us reach the goals and expectations we have set for our students, With the combination of those programs and our great faculty and staff here at Busbee, I believe we will continue to take our students to higher levels in academics, social interactions, and emotional well-being.
