I have been a high school Social Studies teacher for 35 years and I have enjoyed teaching every day. Really, I have.

Wow!! I have taught in:

2 different millenia(1900's and 2000's)

2 different centuries(20th century and 21st century)

5 different decades (1980's, 1990's, 2000's, 2010's, and 2020's).

 

I have also taught at the college level : 

University of Phoenix (Augusta Campus and Online) : I was the Department Chairman and Lead faculty instructor of History, Psychology, Humanities, and Career Development (2007-2019)   

Miller-Motte Technical College (Augusta Campus) : I was a faculty member and instructor of Psychology, Sociology, Study Skills, and Career Development (2013-2017)   

Missional University (Online) : I was the Dean of the School of Ecological Mission (2016-2018) 

Military Service  - I was in the U.S. Army Reserves as a Signal Officer for 8 years. (1987-1995) 

 

My wife, our 3 children, their spouses, and I all believe in the importance of furthering our education in order to learn more, become better citizens, contribute to society, and to create better opportunities for our futures and the futures of others.  So, we represent degree programs from the following schools :

 I also enjoy competitive Powerlifting with USAPL (records here). I am currently the South Carolina Masters 2a Bench Press record holder with a bench of 480 pounds in a tournament (video). My personal best is 500 pounds (video). I train at Gold's Gym in North Augusta, SC.
