Welcome to 6th Grade Mathematics and 6th Advanced!

My name is Shanythia Gucie and this is my 4th year teaching at NAMS! I was born and raised in Aiken, SC. I have a 2 year old son with my husband Nile, who are the absolute joy of my life! I am a proud graduate of Winthrop University and the University of South Carolina Columbia, where I earned my B.A. in Mathematics and a masters in Mathematics with a focus in Education.

I enjoy shopping and spending time with my friends and family. I love Pinterest and exploring their many recipes (especially desserts).
