All About Ms. Nealious
I was born in Augusta, Georgia and raised in New Ellenton, South Carolina. After graduating, I chose to trade in the country life for the splendor of Charleston. I earned my undergraduate degree from Charleston Southern University and my master’s degree from Western Governors University. My next goal is to earn my National Board certification. After many years of enjoying the Charleston area, my roots have called me home.
This school year begins my 13th year of teaching. I taught for 11 years at Fort Dorchester Elementary School. This is my second year at HHE. During the 2007-2008 school year, I was named the Honor Rookie Teacher of the Year for Dorchester District Two. I was also honored to receive Honor Teacher of the Year for Dorchester District Two in May of 2013. I am the current HHE Teacher of the Year. I am living my dream by working at a school that encourages student success through our Leader in Me initiative. It’s always a wonderful day at HHE!
