Meet the teacher

This is my first year at Jackson as a Read 180 Teacher. I worked 40 years in Richmond County School System. I was employed 28 years in the classroom and 12 in Title I as a Program Specialist. I believe that all children can learn when presented with differentiated instruction. Therefore, you meet the needs of all learners and not just a selected few.  I welcome the opportunity to assist our students through their journey of success in Read 180.
My favorite quote is: “Our greatest glory consists not in never falling, but rising every time we fall.”  My goal is to assist all students in improving lexile scores, to exempt Read 180. I enjoy fishing, golfing, writing, line dancing and concerts.
