School Counseling Office Overview
The School Counseling Office aims to provide scholars with the support needed to achieve academic success and to facilitate the successful transition to higher education, the military, or the world of work. The Counseling office provides academic, career, and personal/social support to all scholars.
The mission of the School Counseling Office is to provide a comprehensive school counseling program that addresses the academic, career, and personal/social development of all scholars through a collaborative effort between the home, school, and community. The ultimate objective is to prepare scholars to be productive, well-rounded, informed, and responsible contributing members of society.
School counselors are professional school advocates who provide support to maximize scholar potential and achievement. In partnership with other educators, families, and the community, school counselors facilitate a support system to ensure all scholars have access to the tools enabling them to become responsible and productive citizens.
The Aiken Scholar Academy School Counseling Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. during the school year. Please do not hesitate to call or email with questions or concerns.
