Mr. James Laliberte
I am extremely excited to be joining the Aiken Scholars Academy Team. Throughout my twenty years in education I have made a point to innovate and create opportunities to support the classroom and provide opportunities for which students can grow. The last seventeen years I have worked within the guidance department at a regional high school in Central Massachusetts with the past three years, serving a coordinator for the department. These have been some of the most enjoyable years creating partnerships with community agencies to supplement academics, career exploration, and giving back to their community.
My wife and I are extremely excited to be moving into the Aiken community as we are avid equestrians. After 8 years of living in New England originally from Louisiana my wife is excited about returning to warmer weather. I welcome a new adventure having lived in Central Mass my entire life. My 6 year old son is very excited to have more outdoor recess. I enjoy building in my free time whether it was restoring my 69 Camaro or building a barn. Being Lead Counselor at Aiken Scholars Academy was an opportunity I could not pass up to work with students who will be game changers in shaping the future.
