This year is my sixth year teaching at North Augusta Elementary. I am excited to continue as the  reading interventionist, teaching the Read 180 and the System 44 programs.  . We moved to the area from Alabama when my husband Jim took a position at the University of South Carolina at Aiken. I am originally from Florida. I have extensive teaching experience in K-4. I have taught in Florida, Alabama, New Hampshire and now South Carolina. I have taught both private and public schools and many kinds of settings. I have two adult children, Elizabeth and TJ. I am so excited to be here and working with such an amazing staff and wonderful children.
