• Dear Leavelle McCampbell Family and Community Members,

Whether you are a legacy student whose family has attended LMMS for generations or are brand new to the Graniteville area, the faculty and staff are excited to welcome you to the Leavelle McCampbell Middle School family.

The 2019-2020 school year also has the promise of many new learning opportunities for students as well. Students now have advanced and accelerated learning opportunities in ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Additionally, during the general education exploratory period students will have opportunities to accelerate their learning and to explore areas of interest like STEM, Mock Trial, Future Cities, and debate.

Please be sure to take time to review our student handbook and the Aiken County Public Schools Code of Conduct for Middle Schools. The information within these resources will answer most questions that you may have about school rules, policies and procedures. Providing a safe, healthy, learning environment for all students is our aim and these documents will assist you in knowing school and district expectations.

Stakeholder involvement is paramount to students having a quality learning experience. Leavelle McCampbell has an active Parent Teacher Organization and School Improvement Council that allow parents and community members to be involved in school decisions. Student leadership and service are also exemplified in our student organizations such as Student Council and Beta Club. If you wish to be involved there is an opportunity for you - whether it is a formal organization or occasional volunteering or mentoring.

With a total commitment from parents, students and teachers, the promise and possibilities for students are infinite. Thank you for sending your student to school ready to learn everyday!

    Thanks for your support,

    Dr. Tiffany Hall
