Welcome to my 2nd grade class!  2019-2020 promises to be a year full of fun and learning! I am super excited to be your child's teacher this year and cannot wait to see them learn, lead, and succeed!

This is my 15th year in education!  I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from USCA, and my Master's Degree in Divergent Learning from Columbia College.  This will be my 3rd year at Chukker Creek.  Before returning to my passion, the classroom, I served as a Literacy Coach at Oakwood Windsor Elementary for five years.  Through my job as a Literacy Coach, I obtained my Literacy Teacher and Literacy Coach Endorsements throught the State Department of Education.

When I am not at school, I love spending time with my husband and two children, Jackson and Kylie.  I also love to read, do anything outdoors, and watch football.  Go Gamecocks!
