Continuing a tradition of excellence spanning decades, and SIX-TIME defending champions of Aiken County, the AHS Academic Quizbowl Team always seeks to recruit talented new players!

Among numerous high tournament finishes for Aiken last year, standouts include championships in the Alpha Lambda Delta USC Challenge, the Aiken County District Championship, and the JV division at the Dorman Fall Tournament. Recently, Aiken finished third in the state at the 2023 NAQT South Carolina State Championship held at USC-Columbia in April. The team's active and productive season culminated in Atlanta at the 2023 NAQT High School National Championship Tournament, where Aiken finished in 163rd place in the nation.

If you enjoy and have a knack for "Jeopardy!" and other trivia games, you're insatiably curious about the world, you get a thrill out of team competition, and you like to have FUN, quizbowl might be your thing!
