Discrete Math

Teaching has always been my greatest passion. I love helping people grasp new knowledge so that they can better themselves and in turn, help others. Next year will be my 9th year of teaching high school math.

I was born and raised in Augusta, GA. I graduated from high school with a focus in music at Davidson Fine Arts. I pursued my bachelors in Discrete Mathematics at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. During my time at Georgia Tech, I lead Calculus II recitations, interned as a middle school technology instructor, and was involved in several choirs, including the GT Chamber Choir.

Upon graduation, I returned to my home town to teach mathematics grades 8th-12th. I have taught at Laney High School, Davidson Fine Arts, and Morgan Road Middle School.

I am recently married and have moved to Aiken. I am excited about all the wonderful opportunities in Aiken! I have taught all math classes ranging from 8th grade math to 12th grade math, including support, enrichment, and honors classes, along with AP Computer Science. I look forward to developing curriculum for Discrete Math this year. Discrete Math, to put it briefly, is fancy counting.

I look forward to a wonderful school year.
