Colonel Claude H. Davis III, U.S. Marine Corps (Retired)

Career

Colonel Davis hails from Winston Salem, North Carolina. Colonel Davis is a graduate of North Carolina Central University and a distinguished graduate from Duke University Navy ROTC Unit.  He served for 26 years and retired in 2006 from the United States Marine Corps. He has taught Navy JROTC for thirteen years. He is now the Senior Naval Science Instructor at South Aiken High School. He taught from 1990 to 1993 at the Military College of South Carolina (The Citadel). His final active duty assignment was the Deputy Commander/Chief of Staff of the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command.  After Retirement in 2006 he began teaching at Summerville High School until January of 2013 and Conway High School from January 2013 until June 2016.

Personal

Colonel Davis has a son (Rusty) and a daughter (Amanda). Additionally he has been in Boy Scouting over 50 years.
