Hello! I am excited to be at North Augusta Middle School teaching Math 7 and Math 8.  This is my 11th year teaching.  I have previously taught at Swansea High School, Gilbert High School, and Carolina Springs Middle School.  I graduated from Newberry College in 2012 with a B.S. in Mathematics and a Minor in Coaching.  While at Newberry College I was a member of the wrestling team. My wife's name is Chelsea and my three daughters are Charleigh Emma, Oakleigh Maxwell, and Stevie Joleigh .  I enjoy watching and participating in sports.  In my free time I enjoy working out, working in my yard, or a do it yourself project.

Grading Policy

Grades are determined with the following weights:

• 60%- Major (Test, Quizzes, Projects)
• 40%- Minor (Homework, Classwork)

Missing Work/Late Work

It is the student’s responsibility to find out what work they missed.  Students are expected to submit work on assigned due dates. Work that is not submitted on the due date will be given a zero in the grade book. If a student misses 1 day they are given 2 to make it up and turn it in. No late work will be accepted after 2 weeks from the original due date.
