A speial thanks to our graduating seniors and junior who played their final match as Yellow Jackets (Bailey McNair, Brandy McNair, Emma Shiver, Autumn Jones, Madi Usry, and Macy Logan) for their leadership and commitment to the team.  You all will be missed.

We now set our sights on Tennis 2021.  We have a significant amount of work to do if we are to return to the playoffs.  We will begin practicing as a team in May for the 2021 season.  However, it is critical for current and prospective players to get outside and play as often as possible.  Make a commitment to get better!

    See you soon.

The Brookland-Cayce match started at 6:30 PM due to a 1:45 traffic delay on I-20.  The contest was tight with multiple matches going three sets.
Big wins at #1 singles (Ansley Hooks), #4 singles (Ann Marie Partl), #5 singles (Emma Shiver) and #2 doubles (Gladdie Laube and Macy Logan) propelled the Racket Jackets to a 4-2 win that ended at 10:31 PM.

    Weekly Update: September 25
This was a terrific week for the lady jackets!  The squad played two matches and were victorious in both matches after defeating Brookland Cayce 5-1 on  Monday and knocking off region foe Airport 5-1 Tuesday.  Out Thursday match against South Aiken was postponed due to rain and is reschedued for Tuesday, October 6.

The Brookland Cayce match was one of the best high school tennis matches I've been a part of.  While the score looked lopsided, five of the six matches concluded in third set tie breakers, with the Jackets prevailing in five of the matches.

The Airport win moved our region record to 4-1 on the year and the team is currently 2nd in region play.

The Jackets have a tough week ahead with four matches this week, all on the road.

    Monday            September 28   @ Brookland-Cayce

Tuesday           September 29   @ Midland Valley

    Wednesday      September 30    @ Greenwood

    Thursday           October 1        @ Aiken

I know the team will respond well and I look forward to a long but fruitful week.

If possible, come and see the team play.  The girls really appreciate your support.

    Weekly Update: September 18

This upcoming week will be tough with 3 matches against Brookland-Cayce, Airport and South Aiken.  All three matches are home matches.

The team truly apprecaites the fan support this year.  We've had excellent crowds for our matches and it hasn't gone unnoticed.  Keep on supporting our squad!
