Welcome to Belvedere Elementary School!

Our school is the place to "Live. Love. Learn. Leave a Legacy."  I am grateful to serve as the principal of this family-oriented school.  The faculty, staff, and students join with parents, guardians, and community volunteers in creating an environment in which all learners grow and find success.

I was raised in Jackson, South Carolina and attended Jackson Elementary School, Jackson Middle School, and I graduated from Silver Bluff High School.  I obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina Aiken and my Doctorate of Philosophy in Educational Leadership from the University of South Carolina.  I have held positions as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, principal and Director of Special Programs.

I have 3 precious daughters: Olivia, 20; Elena, 18, and Isabella, 15.  Olivia is a Junior at the College of Charleston,  Elena is a Freshman at the College of Charleston and Isabella is a Sophomore at South Aiken High School.

If you would like to meet me just to say "hello" please stop by any time.  If you would like to share questions or concerns with me, please contact my secretary (ejohnson@acpsd.net or 803.442.6330) or me (sminolfo@acpsd.net or 803.442.6330.  By making an appointment, it ensures that I have enough time to hear your concerns or questions.
