    If you have not purchased a cap, gown, tassel, and diploma for graduation, please visit RhodesGraduation.com and let our Josten's reps help you.  Jostens will return on Thursday. May 9 to deliver senior graduation packages.  Balances must be paid in full to receive any items.  On 5-9 Josten's will not accept personal checks or credit cards.  If you need to pay on 5/9 only cash and money orders will be accepted.  Contact Jostens will questions or conerns before 5/9.

     

    THE LAST DAY to purchase a yearbook at MVHS is Thursday, April 25 during Mustang Hour in room 409!  See Sharon Gregory with questions.

     

    If you did NOT pay the class fees as a junior, now that you are a senior they are now called senior fees.  NO SENIOR FEES WILL BE COLLECTED IN MAY!!


    Any students who wish to attend senior breakfast and senior field day should also make sure that $120 senior fees are paid. The last day to pay senior fees and attend senior breakfast and senior field day is Tuesday, April 30. Students should see Mrs. Burton in room 405 during Mustang Hour to pay fees. No senior fees will be collected in May.


    Also be reminded that senior breakfast tickets will be on sale May 15-May 21. Tickets will be $8.


    Lastly, all of the fees and tickets described above are 100% optional. If you choose not to attend prom, senior breakfast, or senior field day you do NOT need to pay these fees. If you choose not to participate/pay, this will not keep you from graduating.     Graduation – Friday, June 7 @ 3 pm at USC-Aiken Convocation Center

    *Students must attend both graduation meeting and practice in order to participate in graduation.

     

    Meeting – Friday, May 31, 9-12 (MVHS auditorium!)        Practice – Wed, June 5, 1:00-UNTIL (MVHS gym!)

    We distribute tickets at the second practice. The number of tickets each graduate receives is determined by the number in the graduating class. We will be distributing 10 tickets to each graduate.  Only students who have met the graduation requirements and who have cleared all fees will receive tickets & participate in graduation.

     

    Proper attire for ladies:

    • School appropriate black dress or skirt that does not hang below the gown (No shorts or slacks are permitted!)
    • blouse/top of the dress that does not show at the top of the gown
    • white collar attached to the gown’s neckline (Josten’s).
    • black dress shoes with straps at the heel (Heel height should be what is comfortable for the graduate.)
    • small earrings and necklaces allowed                              *No gum!

     

    Proper attire for men:

    • white dress shirt with black tie (No bow ties!)
    • black dress pants (No khaki pants!)
    • black dress shoes and black socks (No white socks!) *No gum!
