Mrs. Herlong
  • The staff at Ridge Spring-Monetta Elementary School are excited about this school year.  It is our goal to provide students with the social/emotional and academic skills in order to become leaders.  Our staff seeks to provide instruction that allows all students to reach their fullest potential. It is our vision to increase student achievement by implementing a rigorous and engaging curriculum.  Therefore, we want to increase our scores on the SC Ready state standardized tests and the Reading and Math Inventories by at least 20%. We will work in a partnership with parents and community to assist students in gaining the academic competence and the responsibility required to find success through their elementary school years and into the next phase of learning. We encourage our families to be actively involved in their child's education. Our staff will work to communicate with our families throughout the school year using our website, Facebook page, telephone messages and newsletters. Our PTO is another great way to collaborate with teachers, parents and students. We look forward to inspiring our students in becoming premier leaders.
